In collaboration with Visier, Deloitte has introduced the Equity Smart Suite, an advanced analytics solution that extends Visier’s data model. This suite optimizes an organizations’ ESG efforts by incorporating equity-specific metrics and delivering cohesive insights across Workforce, Marketplace, and Society.
Problems to be solved
Understanding & Quantifying the Impact of Equity Projects: While many enterprises are investing in ESG initiatives, they often struggle to understand the impact in ways that can be measured. The appropriate metrics may not be obvious, and even when they are, it’s challenging to bring the data together and generate meaningful insights.
Measuring Equity Across the Enterprise: Authentic corporate citizens recognize their responsibility for advancing equity across multiple spheres – work, marketplace and society, but cohesively managing these efforts requires an analytics platform with common metrics that support a centralized program.
Getting Real-time Insights: Equity activation is most effective when enterprises can evaluate actions and adjust tactics proactively to ensure that the desired outcomes are being achieved. A robust analytics solution will enable frequent data refreshes to track progress and identify areas for intervention.
Solution
Deloitte applied its Equity Activation Model within Visier’s People Analytics Platform to frame how equity should be measured and activated across a client's enterprise. This model comprises three components:
Workforce (covering topics like talent acquisition, employee experience, and advancement),
Marketplace (covering topics like customer transactions, perception, and supplier diversity), and
Society (covering topics like pro bono work, corporate giving, and community service).
To provide insights into Equity Activation efforts, Deloitte identified relevant KPIs and metrics that offer perspectives beyond typical Diversity, Equity and Inclusion measurements, addressing equity factors for how enterprises go-to-market and develop their supply chains, and how they positively impact the communities in which they operate.
Deloitte expanded the Visier data model to incorporate marketplace and society data and built a rich set of analytical insights that quantify enterprise-influenced equity across workforce, marketplace, and society. These insights offer a clear narrative that enables enterprises to evaluate where they are today and plan a set of actions that gets them where they want to be.
The Equity Smart Suite provides clients actionable insights to drive equity initiatives across the enterprise. Because it is built on the Visier platform, it can be deployed quickly and enhanced as needed to support clients’ specific equity objectives.
